Amandine
Production Manager
Teledyne Digital Imaging Semiconductors
As a role model for women in STEM, what encouragement or advice would you give other women who are still establishing themselves?
I’d recommend working to immerse yourself further into the
technology and find interest in the details. Making the link
between the technical side of a product and its industrialization
is an amazing challenge that drives me every day.
Moving towards several different possibilities to solve
problems creates gateways that open our minds and allows us
to learn continuously.
What excites you most about your work at Teledyne?
I enjoy the diversity of tasks to be done, and being asked to be
multi-skilled. We never get bored! I really enjoy the Teledyne
values and the spirit of mutual support between services.
Looking back, what career advice would you give yourself
from your early days in college or your first job from your
current perspective?
Trust yourself and seize opportunities without being afraid,
that’s what worried me the most at the beginning. I was
worried about not being able to give the best of myself.
I don’t have a “typical” career path and I think it is a strength
as it has opened more career horizons.
