Stephen P. DeVita is President and General Manager of Teledyne Process, Air Quality and Safety, a group of companies within Teledyne’s Instrumentation Segment which provides gas detection and analytical solutions for industrial process control, environmental monitoring, and personnel safety.

Mr. DeVita joined Teledyne via the acquisition of Monitor Labs in 2002 and has held a variety of increasing leadership roles in Engineering, R&D, Sales, and Business Development culminating in a 2015 appointment to Vice President and General Manager of Teledyne Monitor Labs and Teledyne Analytical Instruments. In 2019, Mr. DeVita also assumed executive leadership of an acquired group of companies which manufactures Gas and Flame detection instruments and sensors used to protect personnel in industrial and gas utilities markets.

In addition to the 30 plus years of gas detection experience at Teledyne, Mr. DeVita served as Senior Vice President and General Manager for an X-Ray detection company responsible for its Industrial Inspection and Security Division and served as Senior Product Line Manager for a medical device manufacturer, overseeing critical need products used in open heart surgery. Mr. DeVita holds a Master of Science degree in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from the University of Vermont.
