Edwin Roks is Chief Executive Officer of Teledyne Technologies Incorporated. Before this position he served as Executive Vice President and President of Teledyne Digital Imaging, Teledyne's largest segment.

Teledyne, which encompasses brands like FLIR, DALSA, e2v and Raymarine is a world leader in the development and manufacture of advanced sensing and decision support systems. This includes a diverse portfolio of world's most innovative unmanned ground and airborne platforms for defense and public safety applications; advanced, multi-domain, image acquisition and processing; cameras and sensors for manufacturing and factory automation; medical and industrial x-ray; infrared for thermography systems, security and traffic management; multi-spectral photogrammetry and space imaging; LiDAR and Geospatial systems; as well as MEMS inertial, bio sensors, and high reliability semiconductor components.

Dr. Roks is responsible for the daily operations, near term growth and profitability, and long range strategic positioning.

Previously, he served as President of Teledyne DALSA Inc. and before that, Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Teledyne Technologies Incorporated. Dr. Roks joined Teledyne with the acquisition of DALSA Inc. in 2011.

Dr. Roks joined DALSA in 2005 from Philips, where he served as Chief Technology Officer of Philips Polymer Vision and R&D Director of Philips Imaging Business Line. Dr. Roks has a long and distinguished history in Semiconductor and Imaging. He was closely involved in new business development and customer relationship management in the area of Mobile industry. After lecturing as an officer at the Royal Military Academy of the Netherlands, Dr. Roks joined Philips Research Laboratories in 1989. As a committee member, he was involved in leading international conferences and has authored and co-authored more than 50 technical papers and holds 10 patents in the imaging field.
