Teledyne Brown Names Bob O'Donnell VP for Business Development
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (Jan. 13, 2002)- James M. Link, president of Teledyne Brown Engineering, announced today the appointment of Robert M. (Bob) O'Donnell as the company's Vice President for Business Development.
"I have known Bob O'Donnell for many years and have great confidence in his ability to help us increase our market share," Link said. "Bob has an excellent reputation in this business, and he will be an important addition to Team Teledyne."
O'Donnell joins Teledyne Brown after a successful program management and business development career with The Boeing Company in Huntsville, where he served more than 15 years in a range of increasingly responsible positions, the most recent being Senior Manager for Air and Missile Defense Systems Business Development.

O'Donnell previously served 22 years in the U.S. Army, retiring in the grade of colonel in 1986. His overseas service included Europe, Korea and Vietnam, and his last assignment was as Chief of Staff at the Army's Missile Command (MICOM) at Redstone Arsenal. During his Army career, he served in a variety of command and staff positions, including Senior Staff Officer, Department of the Army, Pentagon, and Director of Maintenance Engineering at MICOM.
A native of Medford, Mass., O'Donnell is a 1963 graduate of Florida State University with a degree in Pre-Law (Government). He earned a Masters of Science degree in Educational Administration from FSU in 1970. Additionally, while serving in the Army, he attended the Command and General Staff College (1973), and the Industrial College of the Armed Forces (1983).
Bob and his wife, Nancy have two grown children and four grandchildren.
